Innovative Educational Tools and Resources

November 26, 2012 by Bess Kapetanis

As we recently shared, you can enter the 2012 Teacher Innovator Awards now through December 12, 2012.  Along with PBS LearningMedia, The Henry Ford is also a  proud sponsor of these awards, and you can find innovative educational tools and resources on their website and numerous links.

At OnInnovation.com, you’ll find resources that apply the core principles of innovation for active teaching and learning. For example, Innovation 101 is a digital educational module that uses oral history interviews of some of America’s iconic innovators, past and present.  At The Henry Ford Education site, you’ll find an Aspiring Innovators Resource Guide aimed at helping teachers, after-school providers and parents to create a culture that can foster creativity and innovation among youth on an everyday basis.  Other resources include an Educator Digi Kits, paradigm-shifting teaching and learning with hyperlinked, curriculum-aligned digital media, and the Innovation 101 Interactive Module, a 5-day unit that explores various traits and processes used by innovators.
